Solution Architect

Contract Opportunity - Solution Architect-Outside IR35-9 Months +

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a major digital transformation programme.

This is a senior architecture leadership role, responsible for shaping, designing and assuring complex technology solutions across multiple business areas, ensuring systems are integrated, secure, scalable and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and govern end-to-end solution architectures across a complex transformation programme.
• Lead integration design across multiple systems, suppliers and business functions.
• Provide architectural leadership and technical assurance throughout the project life cycle.
• Support technology procurement, supplier evaluation and technical specifications.
• Ensure solutions meet security, data protection, resilience and performance requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, suppliers and programme leadership.
• Oversee architecture governance, design assurance and operational readiness.
• Support service transition and the successful implementation of new technology solutions.

Key Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect on large-scale transformation programmes.
• Strong experience designing complex, integrated technology solutions.
• Experience with systems integration, APIs and data architecture.
• Experience supporting procurement, supplier management and technical governance.
• Strong understanding of cyber security, data protection and operational resilience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Public sector experience would be advantageous.
