LEAD PRODUCT ENGINEER

I’m currently working with a profitable, fast-growing tech company building an AI-powered platform used by global organisations (across tech, consumer, and non-profits).

They’re now hiring a Lead Product Engineer - this is a high-impact role for someone who could easily be a founding engineer elsewhere.

This is a hands-on senior IC role where you’ll:

• Write production code daily (not a step-back leadership role)
• Define architecture across backend, frontend, and AI systems
• Help decide what gets built - not just how
• Drive technical direction and roadmap (12–24 months)
• Work directly with customers to shape the product

Think: technical leader + builder + product thinker

Requirements:

• Strong full-stack experience (backend depth essential)
• Experience building complex systems in production
• Hands-on experience with LLMs / AI products
• Proven ability to make architecture decisions
• Comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Startup / founding engineer background
• Experience scaling early-stage products
• Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, LLMs, agent systems, Postgres, Redis, Kubernetes, GCP
