MUST be able to program CONTROL 4 and LUTRON
Location: Cheshire - Northwest England
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Depending on Experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you passionate about delivering high-end residential AV installations? We are working in partnership with the client, a leading smart home technology specialist, to find an experienced Audio-Visual Installation Engineer to join their growing team.

About the Client:
With over 20 years in the industry, the client is an award-winning CEDIA member that designs and installs cutting-edge smart home systems. Their projects include home cinema rooms, whole-home automation, lighting control, multi-room audio, security, and networking - all tailored to the luxury residential market across the Northwest of England

The Role:
You will be responsible for installing and commissioning a wide range of AV and smart home systems, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for clients. Working both independently and as part of a team, you'll play a key role in delivering technically sound, clean, and client-ready installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install Program and commission AV systems including home cinema, multi-room audio, lighting control Lutron, home automation Control4, and networking
• Work from technical drawings, wiring schedules, and system schematics
• Rack building and cable management to a high professional standard
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and site trades to ensure smooth project delivery
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site
• Maintain excellent attention to detail and uphold the client's premium standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience in AV installations within the high-end residential sector
• Strong PROGRAMMING knowledge of CONTROL 4, LUTRON, lighting, networking, and home automation systems
• Ability to build and dress racks to a tidy, professional standard
• Confident reading and working from system schematics and wiring diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• CEDIA or manufacturer training (e.g. Control4, Lutron, KNX, etc.)
• Basic programming or configuration experience
