Solution Architect - Active SC and NPPV3 Required

£660 per day | Inside IR35 | 6-month contract | Hybrid

Who you'll be working with

You'll support a major government digital programme, designing and delivering secure digital services that support policing. This is a hands-on role working closely with architects, engineers and delivery teams.

What you'll be doing

• Designing solution and application architectures across multiple digital products.

• Working with engineering teams to develop practical, scalable and secure solutions.

• Supporting AWS cloud architecture, APIs, integrations and microservices.

• Defining non-functional requirements covering security, resilience and performance.

• Contributing to DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code approaches.

• Providing architectural guidance throughout the delivery life cycle.

What we need

• Proven Solution Architecture experience in complex digital environments.

• Essential government, policing, law enforcement or security-sensitive domain experience.

• Strong application architecture and integration design skills.

• Experience working closely with software engineering and delivery teams.

• Understanding of cloud architecture, security and non-functional requirements.

AWS, Terraform, CI/CD and experience with national policing systems or LEDS are highly desirable.

Contract details

• £660 per day, Inside IR35

• 6 months, with potential extension

• ASAP start

• Hybrid: 1-2 days on-site

• Clearance: SC and NPPV3 required
