Most AI roles involve building chatbots.

This one doesn't.

We're working with a rapidly scaling Defence AI company backed by significant investment and trusted to deliver advanced AI capabilities into some of the UK's most critical Defence and National Security environments.

They're looking for AI Engineers who want to move beyond proofs of concept and work on AI systems that solve real operational problems.

What You'll Be Working On

• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Agentic AI systems
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• AI-enabled decision support tools
• Secure and air-gapped AI deployments
• Production-grade AI applications used in mission-critical environments

You'll work alongside experienced AI, Software and Data Engineers helping to build and deploy solutions that need to be accurate, robust and trusted.

We're Looking For Engineers With Experience In

• Python development
• LLMs, Generative AI or Machine Learning
• AI evaluation and optimisation
• RAG frameworks and modern AI tooling
• Building and deploying production applications
• Solving complex technical problems

Experience within Defence, National Security, Government or highly regulated environments is particularly valuable.
