Full Stack Tech Lead Developers/Tech Leads Needed – Fully Remote (UK) | Up to £85,000
Interviews happening this week & next – decisions by end of the month
Are you a Senior Developer ready to step into a Tech Lead role where you can shape products that truly make a difference? We're partnering with an industry leader at the forefront of digital innovation in health & social care.
With offices in Scotland and Newcastle (and just one or two in-office days per month), this is a fully remote opportunity offering the chance to lead, innovate, and grow in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
What you'll do
- Take on a 70/30 hands-on vs. leadership split—coding, architecting, and mentoring.
- Lead a small, talented team of developers in an agile, product-focused environment (scrum).
- Work across a modern full-stack environment:
What You'll Do
HANDS ON Senior Software Engineer/Tech Lead and develop a team of 2–6 engineers, running 1:1s and supporting growth
Influence architecture, design patterns, and tech decisions across the platform
Partner with product managers to shape priorities and delivery outcomes
Guide teams in designing, building, testing, and shipping new features
Own the full lifecycle from concept → architecture → code → release
Play a key role in hiring the next generation of engineering talent
Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and engineering excellence
Remain technically hands-on, especially while teams scale
Tech Stack
We're seeking strong full-stack engineers who lead by example.
Core stack includes:
.NET (Framework & Core)
Azure SQL + Azure Cloud
Vue.js, Vanilla JS, CSS, HTML (SPA)
Bonus: RabbitMQ, SignalR, broader Azure services
Experience with large-scale, complex systems is a major advantage.
About You
Leadership titles aren't essential - but leadership behaviour is.
You'll thrive if you are:
A strong full-stack engineer with deep problem-solving instincts
Comfortable leading technical direction and coaching others
Skilled at breaking down complexity into clear actions
Emotionally intelligent and great at aligning teams
Confident challenging assumptions and navigating ambiguity
Motivated to build elegant, scalable, future-ready solutions
Passionate about learning, improvement, and collaboration
