What you'll be doing:
- Collating and analysing information from various sources to produce reports, schedules, presentations, summaries, and letters for internal and external distribution
- Administering and maintaining documents and data for swift and accurate traceability, utilising all relevant departmental systems
- Engaging with management to report, obtaining authorisations, highlighting, and escalating issues as necessary
- Managing the coordination of all internal management reporting
- Undertaking diverse clerical and administrative tasks to support managers and their teams, ensuring the smooth running of the department
- Communicating efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing advice and support to team members to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the office, maintaining a clear understanding of document management systems and Health, Safety & Environment requirements
- Providing administrative support to SHE training within the function
Your skills and experiences:
- Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint, with Visio experience being desirable
- Ability to collate, analyse, and present information effectively in reports, schedules, presentations, and summaries
- Confident in engaging professionally with senior management and stakeholders
- Experienced in managing multiple work streams and adapting to shifting priorities
- Capable of handling sensitive information with care

The Business Support team:
The Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Team at BAE Systems, Maritime & Land Defence Solutions is dedicated to creating a safe, sustainable, and compliant workplace. By reducing operational risks and environmental impact, the SHE team plays a crucial role in protecting people and ensuring long-term success.
As part of this mission, our small but dynamic Business Support Team provides essential administrative and operational support within SHE. Reporting directly to the Business Support Manager, you'll work closely with colleagues across different disciplines to help drive efficiency, innovation, and process improvements.
