PBI Report Writer & Insight Analyst
An exciting opportunity for two PBI Report Writer and Insight Analysts to join Birmingham Children’s Trust’s Trust Intelligence and Insight Centre (TIIC) on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (potential for an extension) . As a PBI Report Writer and Insight Analyst, you will transform complex data into clear, compelling insights that drive positive change for children and families. About The Role As PBI Report Writer and Insight Analyst in TIIC, you will:
- Develop, publish, and maintain visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports that communicate data insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable Power BI solutions and visualisations.
- Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key metrics, supporting statutory responsibilities and organisational objectives.
- Promote data quality, governance, and compliance, ensuring all reporting solutions meet GDPR and data security standards.
- Provide training and support to end users, building effective working relationships and a culture of knowledge sharing across the Trust.
- Champion diversity, equality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of reporting and data practice.
- Professional qualification at diploma or A/levels or equivalent (including relevant experience) covering Digital, Information Management, and Business Intelligence skills.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Advanced Power BI, SQL, and data analysis skills
- Experience in transforming data into actionable insights
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
