Asset owners, asset managers, wealth managers, banks, distributors, and other market participants increasingly need trusted, connected, and discoverable fund data to support fund selection, due diligence, portfolio construction, benchmarking, risk analysis, distribution, and total portfolio analysis. This includes being the voice of the client in strengthening Bloomberg's coverage of mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds, and other publicly offered investment vehicles; expanding transparency into their holdings and exposures; improving the taxonomy and classification of fund data; and enabling users to connect funds, share classes, managers, securities, benchmarks, flows, fees, risk, and performance information in way that helps facilitate answers to client questions in an agentic world.
