Head of Transformation: Gloucestershire: £80,000 - £90,000 + package Our client is a
PE-backed business. The Head of Transformation is a newly created role reporting to the FD. The successful candidate willlead the organisation’s strategic and operational transition from a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) to a Managed Services Provider (MSP). This is a pivotal role responsible for defining, managing and delivering a comprehensive transformation programme that aligns with commercial, technical and customer objectives.
Skills & Experience... - Extensive experience in senior transformation or change leadership roles, ideally as a Head of Transformation, Transformation Director or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience of transitioning a business from VAR to MSP (or closely related transformation in the IT services sector).
- Experience in private equity or a high-growth, scaling environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT services, MSP operating models and vendor ecosystems.
- Commercially astute with the ability to link transformation initiatives to tangible business outcomes.
- A leader who can inspire, challenge and support teams through change.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Pragmatic, hands-on approach, capable of balancing strategic vision with execution detail.
- Technically strong and an effective manager with a commercial mindset
Initially, you will manage a team consisting of a Transformation & Efficiency Manager, Business Process Analyst and a Business Data Analyst, which is a new team to the business.
Location: Gloucestershire Head office (minimum 3 days a week)
