System Administrator
Yardi Systems Owner – Yardi, Finance, Power BI (Contract) – London/Hybrid – Up to £600 per day
A leading UK purpose-built student accommodation provider is looking for a Yardi Systems Owner to sit across Finance and IT. They operate high-end, "hotel-style" student assets across the UK and have recently implemented Yardi as their core finance and operations platform.
They need a hands-on Yardi specialist to own the system day to day, support c.300 users, and work closely with Finance on BAU, month-end and ongoing enhancements.
Yardi Systems Owner – role overview:
- Own and administer Yardi across Finance and Operations (c.300 users).
- Act as primary contact for the Yardi vendor – tickets, issues, updates and releases.
- Align configuration with core finance processes (AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, reporting).
- Support month-end close, audit preparation and compliance reporting.
- Provide BAU support, training and documentation for end users.
- Lead testing for changes, patches and upgrades using test/sandbox environments.
- Manage data quality, role-based access and security.
- Support integrations, data flows and reporting/analytics (including Power BI).
Yardi Systems Owner – requirements:
- Proven experience as a Yardi Systems Owner/Administrator or similar.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Yardi modules, especially finance.
- Good understanding of end-to-end finance processes (AP, AR, GL, reporting).
- Experience supporting a sizeable user base and acting as a key point of contact.
- Stakeholder coordination skills, including vendor management.
- Experience with testing/change, integrations, APIs and related tooling (e.g. Azure, DevOps, payment gateways, API Management) beneficial.
- Strong documentation, communication and customer-service skills; comfortable mentoring users.
