PURPOSE OF JOB:
As a Channel Account Manager , you’ll focus on identifying, onboarding, and developing new channel partners to expand our reach and drive revenue. Once onboarded, you’ll nurture these relationships to ensure long-term success and alignment with Bytes’ commercial goals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively identify and engage new channel partners across key target sectors.
- Lead outreach, qualification, and onboarding for new partners.
- Develop tailored engagement plans to drive partner ramp-up and early success.
- Identify new business opportunities within the channel.
- Collaborate with marketing to deliver impactful sales campaigns and promotions.
- Support partners in building joint value propositions and closing deals.
- Represent Bytes at partner meetings, events, and training sessions.
- Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in sales, business development, or account management - ideally in a channel or partner-facing environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and the broader IT ecosystem.
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and onboard new business relationships.
- A growth mindset and eagerness to learn and develop within the role.
