Senior Application Support Analyst
Are you an experienced Senior Application Support Analyst
Do you have advanced SQL coding skills including SSIS
Would you like to work for a Scottish based company who are going through a really interesting transformation
They are Glasgow city centre based and its hybrid working (2 days a week in the office)
In this role you will be responsible for the design and development of coding solutions to support BAU and small projects, plus also help lead the application support team.
Responsibilities include:
- Data manipulation and analysis using SQL and Oracle tools and writing/maintaining stored procedures.
- Development and maintenance of SSIS packages.
- Problem solve and debug SSIS/SQL issues.
- Requirements gathering, analysis, effort estimation, and solution design of new SQL projects within the business.
- Testing, deploying, and maintaining SQL projects and fixes in line with best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide recommendations and advise on changes.
- Implement code fixes into production as per the release process.
- Providing Tier 3 Application support to the business.
Skills and experience:
- Advanced T-SQL/PL-SQL Development experience.
- Advanced skills in SSIS.
- Understanding of XSL.
- Understanding of Java and APIs desirable.
- Strong understanding of integrations, data flows, and batch processing.
- Basic scripting (Sybase, Python, Power BI)
- Awareness/experience of workflow solutions within Application Software.
- Experience in wealth management, life administration, pensions, and savings and investments are desirable.
