Rubrik Technology Architect - Remote - £800.00 Per Day Umbrella

We are seeking an experienced Rubrik Technology Architect to support a major IT modernisation programme, focusing on enterprise backup, recovery and cyber resilience solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and enhancing data protection capabilities across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, with a particular focus on Rubrik technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise backup, recovery and cyber resilience solutions.
• Develop technical architectures, solution designs and engineering standards.
• Support the design and implementation of Rubrik-based services across hybrid infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, project teams and third-party suppliers to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption to improve platform management.
• Develop reporting and dashboards to monitor service performance, compliance and recovery readiness.
• Support testing and validation of backup, disaster recovery and cyber recovery capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to stakeholders throughout project delivery and service transition.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise data protection, backup and recovery solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Rubrik, ideally including Rubrik Security Cloud (RSC), Cloud Data Management (CDM), Cloud Cluster and Exocompute.
• Experience working across hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Understanding of server, storage, virtualisation and networking technologies.
• Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly TerraformandAnsible.
• Strong understanding of cyber resilience, ransomware protection, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Experience producing technical designs, architecture documentation and operational reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

• Rubrik Certified Professional or equivalent certification.
• Microsoft Azure or AWS certifications.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments.
