Staff Engineer / Developer (Full Stack Python React) Cambridge to £70k

Do you enjoy taking ownership and working with a range of technology across the full stack on greenfield projects?

You could be progressing your career as a founding member of a growing 'tech for good' start-up that is using AI technology to ensure compliance and efficiencies within the NHS and Health sector, with plans to expand to other regulated industries.

As a Staff Engineer you'll work closely with the founders and a small technology team to design and develop scalable end-to-end solutions working across the full software development lifecycle through to CI/CD and deployment to Azure. You'll be mainly working with Python and TypeScript, collaboratively problem solving and promoting best practices.

Location / WFH:

You'll join the team in Cambridge three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days.

About you:

• You enjoy taking ownership and can build software from scratch and iterate quickly
• You have strong technical skills across the full stack, primarily with Python and TypeScript
• You have experience with RESTful APIs, React and other web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3
• You are curious about advancements of LLMs and agentic AI, like to get your hands dirty and have a proactive entrepreneurial spirit
• You are degree educated, minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top tier university, Computer Science or closely related discipline preferred
