HPE 3PAR Storage Engineer (Data Recovery Specialist), Start ASAP, Remote, £Good

We are urgently seeking an experienced Storage Engineer with HPE 3PAR storage experience and strong data-recovery expertise to assist with a critical issue on a 3PAR V400 system. Please note that this is a specialist recovery job, not a routine storage maintenance role.

The Role:

• You will assess and recover a 3PAR V400 environment with multiple simultaneous drive failures (5 drives lost including accidental magazine removal).

• Stabilise the system, identify data-integrity risks, and carry out safe recovery actions.

• Use advanced 3PAR CLI tools to diagnose and remediate.

• Work in a high-risk environment where RAID tolerance has been exceeded.

• Provide guidance on restoration options and liaise with vendors (eg, HPE) if required.

The Person:

• Strong hands-on experience with HPE 3PAR systems (V400 preferred)

• Proven track record of data recovery in degraded or critical 3PAR arrays

• Deep understanding of chunklets, RAID levels, cages/magazines, and logical disks

• Ability to safely recover systems without worsening data loss

• Experience handling escalations and high-severity incidents
