Commercial Account Manager

We're working with an ambitious, growing technology business looking to appoint a commercially driven Commercial Account Manager to support its continued growth.

Operating at the intersection of technology, data and business intelligence, the company helps organisations make better-informed decisions, understand performance and identify new opportunities.

This isn't a traditional account management role. It combines customer retention and account growth with targeted new business development, giving you ownership of existing client relationships while also opening doors with prospective customers.

You'll play a key role in growing recurring revenue, strengthening customer relationships and identifying new commercial opportunities.

The Role

You'll take ownership of a portfolio of existing customers, managing relationships throughout the customer lifecycle while developing new business opportunities with carefully targeted organisations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing customer relationships from onboarding through to renewal, ensuring customers gain ongoing value from the service.

• Driving customer engagement and adoption to strengthen relationships and support long-term retention.

• Managing renewals and protecting recurring revenue.

• Identifying opportunities to increase account value through upselling, cross-selling and wider adoption.

• Developing targeted new business activity to generate qualified leads.

• Researching prospective organisations, identifying key decision-makers and initiating commercial conversations.

• Building relationships with senior stakeholders and understanding their business challenges.

• Turning customer needs into compelling commercial opportunities.

• Maintaining accurate CRM records, sales pipeline information and account plans.
