Software Developer

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to develop, maintain and improve internal software systems and applications supporting business operations.

Working alongside teams across manufacturing, engineering and quality, you will develop software solutions, reporting tools and database integrations, helping to improve processes and operational efficiency. You will be joining a company delivering mission critical technologies across major aerospace, defence and space programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve existing software applications and systems.
• Design and build new applications, reporting tools and KPI dashboards.
• Develop and manage databases and API integrations.
• Troubleshoot software, database and technical issues.
• Gather requirements and deliver solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Carry out testing, code reviews and ongoing system support.
• Produce technical documentation and support users across the business.

Key Skills & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification, or relevant industry experience.
• Experience with C# and ASP.NET.
• Good working knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience troubleshooting SQL queries and resolving software issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to manage workload, prioritise tasks and work independently as well as part of a team.
