An IT Support Specialist opportunity has arisen with an established manufacturing business based in the East Midlands. Could this be the opportunity for you?

The Role

The IT Support Specialist will serve as a key point of contact for all technology-related queries across the site, handling everything from day-to-day troubleshooting to longer-term infrastructure maintenance. Working within a small, close-knit IT team, you will manage user accounts across Microsoft 365, Active Directory and SAP, set up and maintain end-user devices, and support colleagues with both technical issues and system access.

This is a well-established manufacturing business which places a strong emphasis on quality, consistency and customer-focused engineering. The UK site is a close-knit operation that works collaboratively with colleagues, and the team culture values reliability, ownership and genuine teamwork.

The role is based onsite in Oakham.

What experience does the IT Support Specialist need?

• Strong hands-on experience resolving hardware, software and networking issues,

• Solid knowledge of Windows desktop and Server environments including Active Directory and Group Policy

• Confident administration of Microsoft 365, alongside a thorough understanding of networking fundamentals

• Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery processes, plus scripting ability in PowerShell or VBA

• Exposure to SAP or a comparable ERP platform
