Shape the Future of Automotive Data with Cox Automotive UK

Cox Automotive is the world's largest automotive services organisation, powering the industry with cutting-edge digital, data, and physical solutions. In the UK, our brands include Manheim, RMS, Codeweavers, and eVA. Our mission? To transform how vehicles are bought, sold, and managed — through data, technology, and insight.

Our Data Products team sits at the heart of this transformation, building innovative products that unlock the value of Cox Automotive's rich data ecosystem. Now, we're looking for a Product Owner who's ready to make an impact.

What You'll Do

As a Product Owner, you'll be the voice of the customer within agile delivery teams, turning strategic goals into actionable plans. You'll:

  • Own and prioritise the product backlog for key data products.
  • Write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-value solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and usability are front and centre.
  • Communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders, driving continuous improvement.

Your work will help deliver products that provide meaningful insights and enable smarter decisions across the automotive ecosystem.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Be working as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Junior Product Manager with experience of delivering data, analytics, or platform-based products in an agile environment.
  • Technical Know-How: Familiarity with modern data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks), APIs, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Agile Expertise: Skilled in Scrum or Kanban, backlog management, and sprint planning.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to solve real-world problems.

Automotive, marketplace, or SaaS experience? That's a bonus.

Why Join Us?

  • Work on innovative data products that shape the future of automotive.
  • Collaborate with talented teams across engineering, analytics, and product strategy.
  • Enjoy a flexible hybrid working model with occasional travel to our Manchester & Leeds offices.
  • Be part of a global organisation with a strong UK presence and ambitious growth plans.
