Programme Manager

Programme Manager - Cardiff, Hybrid - £90,000

We're looking for IT Programme Manager to oversee a portfolio of technology and transformation initiatives, with a particular focus on AI and Agentic AI programmes.

Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate multiple technology and transformation projects across their full life cycle.
Manage programme governance, budgets, timelines, risks, issues and dependencies.
Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs and status reporting for senior stakeholders.
Build strong relationships with internal teams, senior business stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
Oversee solution delivery from design through testing, deployment and service transition.
Lead and mentor Project Managers and Business Analysts, creating a high-performing delivery environment.
Support business change activities to ensure successful adoption of new solutions.

Required Experience:

Proven experience as a Programme Manager and/or Portfolio Manager delivering complex IT projects.
Demonstrable experience delivering AI and Agentic AI initiatives end-to-end.
Strong understanding of software development life cycles, application delivery and infrastructure change.
Experience working within Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery environments.
Strong supplier and stakeholder management experience, including outsourced providers.
Previous experience leading and managing teams of permanent and contract professionals.
Prince2, APM Practitioner or equivalent certification.
Previous experience within professional services environments would be advantageous.
