IT Apprenticeship

In this role,You will be hands-on from day one, solving real issues, contributing to interesting projects and developing valuable technical skills. You will also receive support and guidance from experienced IT professionals who are committed to helping them grow into a confident and skilled member of the team.

Role

  • Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of computer systems and peripherals.
  • Manage and respond to service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution of user issues.
  • Help with regular maintenance tasks, including software updates, backups, and system monitoring.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Support SLAs and escalations by adhering to response times, resolving issues promptly and escalating unresolved problems to the appropriate level.
  • Document tasks, escalations and provider an audit trail of IT issues and efficiently log, track and resolves issues.
  • Provide support for end-users, including password resets, software installations, and user account management.
  • Opportunity to take part in a large Network refresh projects during the apprenticeship.

Training

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.

Possible progression upon completion of the apprenticeship.
