Lead Technical Architect

Lead Technical Architect - 3-month contract - £500-£580 per day (outside IR35) - Fully remote

Clearance: SC clearance preferred

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead architecture strategy and design, with a strong focus on enterprise integration and technical solution design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of architecture strategies, solution designs and technical roadmaps.
• Define integration architectures across APIs, microservices and legacy systems.
• Engage with senior stakeholders, architects and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with strategic objectives.
• Produce and review high-level designs, architecture documentation and technical decision records.
• Provide technical leadership, manage architectural risks and ensure solutions meet security, scalability and resilience requirements.

Essential Experience:

• Proven experience at leading technical architecture and design.
• Strong enterprise integration experience across complex systems.
• Experience developing architecture strategies and solution designs within large-scale environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within government or similarly regulated environments.

Desirable: Active SC clearance and previous public sector experience.

**This temporary contract is outside IR35 and will be delivered on a statement-of-work basis. The supplier will determine the method, resources, and approach to deliver the agreed outcomes

This temporary contract requires the successful candidate to undergo and be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC/DV level. Clearance sponsorship will be provided where required. Due to the nature of the work, candidates should meet the relevant residency requirements. If applicable, reserved post nationality restrictions will be confirmed by the client.
