What You’ll Be Doing

  • Creating a beautiful, high-performance iOS banking app used by discerning, digitally engaged customers.
  • Developing cutting-edge features using Swift, Objective-C, and modern iOS frameworks.
  • Bringing fresh ideas to enhance UX, security, reliability, and performance.
  • Embedding testing throughout development to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Working within a modern agile squad, contributing to planning, refinement, and continuous improvement.
  • Taking ownership across the full lifecycle: concept code test release support.
  • Helping shape a fun, positive, high-trust engineering culture.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong experience building polished iOS apps with Swift and UIKit.
  • A solid understanding of secure mobile development.
  • Experience with testing tools (XCTest, Appium, Quick, Nimble, OCMock, Calabash).
  • Knowledge of Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
  • Creative thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and a “get it done” mindset.
  • A proactive, curious approach — staying ahead of mobile trends.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for collaboration.

Bonus Points

  • Experience building financial or banking applications.
  • Exposure to AWS Mobile Hub or Firebase.
  • Working with push notification services.
  • Some Android experience.

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs (A–C), 2 A-Levels (A–D).
  • Degree in Computer Science or similar preferred.
