Hybrid - 4 days on-site p/w in London
Rate: 600 - 726.44 per day DOE - Umbrella (Inside IR35)
Contracts run to 28 February 2027 and 31 March 2027
Are you an experienced Microsoft 365 messaging engineer that people turn to when mail flow, Exchange Online or Teams needs a senior pair of hands? We're recruiting two contract Messaging & Collaboration Engineers for a leading global financial services organisation.
You'll be the 2nd and 3rd line escalation point for the support team and will get involved in project work as it arrives, including a migration exercise that is under way. It's a hybrid Exchange environment, mostly cloud with some mailboxes still on-prem, and you'll be expected to pick up work from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as the 2nd and 3rd line escalation point for the BAU support team
- Supporting and evolving Exchange Online, Teams and wider Microsoft 365 collaboration services
- Working across a hybrid Exchange environment, online and on-prem
- Managing email routing, mail flow and the email security gateways around them
- Supporting migration and other project work as it comes in
- Automating with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
What You'll Bring
- Extensive, recent experience engineering Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 in enterprise environments
- Hybrid Exchange experience, ideally including migrations from on-prem to Exchange Online
- Good understanding of email routing and email security gateways, from any vendor
- Solid PowerShell and Microsoft Graph skills
- Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune and Purview experience
Desirable: Teams telephony (wanted in one of the two hires), Proofpoint, financial services or other regulated environments, Defender for Office 365, Copilot readiness
Please note: this role needs four days a week on site in London.
