We are looking for a passionate,proactiveand values-driven professional to join our engagement team to play a vital role and ensuring DHCW operates as a trusted strategic partner. Working in partnership in an inclusive and compassionate way, with a range of stakeholders,is essential to ensuring we understand, listen, and respond to needs.
AsEngagement Officer, you will support DHCW to work with openness and transparency, so that digital health and care services in Wales are co-produced and genuinely make a difference.You'llbe supporting andmaintainingappropriate platforms, processes, and resources to share intelligence and learning across the organisation, increasing awareness, credibility, and influence with a range of stakeholders.
Working as part of the Engagement Team you willbe responsible forsupporting the delivery of a strong portfolio of engagement services and activities in line with DHCW's engagement strategy and organisational aims andobjectives.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job

Support colleagues to engage with relevant stakeholders,forumsand networks to ensure DHCWis able tolead, educate and influence appropriately.

Plan and coordinate activities to support effective management of DHCW partnerships and engagement with key groups and forums.

Develop strong and meaningful relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Support the delivery of the DHCW Engagement strategy and plan.

Job responsibilities

Act as point of contact for the Engagement Team for colleagues, providing advice and support in stakeholder engagement.

Co-ordinate the delivery of engagement activities and events (meetings, workshops, surveys, seminars).

Manage action tracker from engagement meetings.

Lead on ensuring stakeholder lists and intelligenceareupdatedandcontributingto the development and management of a stakeholder engagement platform.

Manage theEngagement SharePoint site.

Identify,analyseand interpret complex information to create reports,briefingsand meeting notes.

Contribute to budgetary reporting and management for engagement eventsand support delivery of regular reporting to DHCW board.

Qualifications and Knowledge
- Knowledge & understanding of key business functions and administrative procedures
Experience
- Experience of planning and delivering activities (meetings, events, workshops).
- Confident in working with a range of colleagues and partners and ability to communicate with all levels of an organisation.
Skills and Attributes
- Self-motivated with a pro-active approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
- Evidence of stakeholder engagement knowledge and experience
- Welsh language skills are desirable levels 3 or above in understanding, speaking, reading and writing in Welsh.
