Microsoft Lifecycle Specialist
Microsoft Licensing & Lifecycle Specialist (CSP / Partner Center)
£40,000 + travel expenses | Hybrid (3 days a week in the office) | London, Solihull, Wakefield, Sevenoaks or Manchester
The UK's largest managed service provider is looking for a Microsoft Lifecycle Specialist to take ownership of its Microsoft customer estate.
You'll run the operational side of the Microsoft relationship, from an accepted order through onboarding, provisioning, licence changes, renewal and offboarding. You'll work closely with the Microsoft Customer Success Managers and Account Managers, keeping their records accurate and giving them the insight they need. The role is mainly internal-facing, and you won't own sales or customer relationships.
What you'll be doing
- Onboarding new customers: setting up tenants, partner associations and delegated admin (GDAP) records
- Provisioning Microsoft licences and subscriptions and processing additions, reductions, cancellations and renewals
- Maintaining renewal schedules and flagging risks early to the commercial team
- Managing Partner Center data, including CPOR and PAL associations
- Tracking Microsoft incentives, rebates and funding, and spotting missed opportunities
- Investigating licensing and billing discrepancies
- Producing licensing, usage and consumption reports across Microsoft 365, Copilot and Azure, with optimisation and upsell insights
- Improving and automating lifecycle processes, controls and audit records
What you'll bring
- Experience in Microsoft CSP operations and M365 licensing
- Hands-on use of Microsoft Partner Center
- A background managing subscriptions, renewals or commercial operations
- Advanced Excel and strong reporting skills
- A sharp eye for detail and a process-driven mindset
Nice to have: GDAP, CPOR, PAL, Microsoft incentives, Azure, M365 and Copilot commercial models, Power BI, HubSpot, or experience at an MSP or Microsoft partner.
What's on offer
- £40,000 base salary
- Expenses for any travel that isn't to your base office
- A choice of five office locations, in the office 3 days a week
- 25 days' holiday, rising by one day a year to 28
- Private medical cover, virtual GP, eye care and an employee assistance programme
- Access to an in-house learning academy for ongoing development
