The Role:
 
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Project Manager on a 9 month FTC basis, to lead the delivery of complex software implementations, including our flagship cloud-based billing and CRM solutions built on the Salesforce platform. You’ll be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, client relationships, and project governance to ensure successful delivery on time, within scope, and to budget.
 
Key Responsibilities
 

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of software implementation projects, from initiation through to go-live and post-deployment support
  • Develop detailed project plans, resource forecasts, and delivery schedules aligned with client expectations
  • Manage project governance, RAID logs, change control, and stakeholder reporting
  • Coordinate internal and external teams including developers, analysts, testers, and client-side stakeholders
  • Monitor project performance using KPIs and dashboards, driving continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and maintain momentum across workstreams
  • Support financial tracking and forecasting, ensuring delivery within agreed budgets
  • Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and retrospectives in Agile or hybrid environments
  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation journey

 
What You’ll Need:
 

  • Proven experience managing software implementation projects, ideally within utilities, energy, or public sector
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce, SaaS platforms, and system integration
  • Skilled in project governance, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination
  • Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Proficient in tools such as Jira, MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Project Management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM) are highly desirable
