We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our client’s rapidly-expanding team which is heading towards the national launch of the company’s first product. They are creating a big brand, supported by a pioneering technology and data platform, all focussed on delivering the right outcomes for customers.

DevOps Engineer Role and Responsibilities:

- Designing and building highly scalable PaaS services on Azure

- Working closely with internal delivery teams from initial concept and design to implementation, build and support.

- Day-to-day deployment, testing and configuration of software releases, Azure DevOps pipelines, monitoring tools and other supporting technologies.

- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using automation tools

- Working with container-based and IaC technologies such as Docker, Terraform etc

- Automating DevOps tasks as part of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment

DevOps Engineer Skills and Experience:

- Robust knowledge of Azure DevOps

- Proven track record of building Infrastructure as code using Terraform.

- Experience with PaaS technologies, containerization principles and frameworks

- Strong knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools such as TICK stack, ELK stack, Splunk, CloudWatch etc.

- Experience in working with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.

- Knowledge of cloud security and governance

The role involves building, maintaining and optimising the company’s cloud-hosted PaaS infrastructure by supporting development teams to build and release their code in an effective manner. You should be passionate about using the latest technologies and being at the forefront of Azure Cloud architecture.
