We're partnering with a market-leading software organisation embarking on one of its most ambitious product transformation programmes to date.
As UX/PX Design Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of AI-powered experiences, helping define how users interact with intelligent, agent-driven products. This is a rare opportunity to join a business where design isn't a support function, it's a core driver of innovation, product strategy and customer value.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll be Embedded within a highly accountable product and engineering squad, designing, building and shipping experiences that will influence thousands of users globally. Based on the requirements outlined, you'll own the end-to-end experience strategy for a flagship next-generation platform while helping establish best practice for AI-native product design.
The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of the user experience vision across a major transformation programme, working at the cutting edge of AI, product design and engineering.
This is not a role for someone who wants to throw designs over the fence.
We're looking for a design leader who enjoys getting hands-on, building alongside engineers, experimenting with emerging AI tools and setting the quality bar for exceptional digital experiences. You'll work within an agile engineering environment, helping turn concepts into working products and defining what great agentic experiences look like.
What You'll Be Doing
- Defining and driving the UX strategy for a next-generation AI-enabled platform.
- Creating intuitive, trusted and engaging experiences for users interacting with intelligent agents.
- Working directly alongside Product and Engineering teams to design and ship working solutions.
- Using modern AI-assisted tools to accelerate design and delivery.
- Establishing scalable design patterns, standards and best practices.
- Leading and mentoring a designer while helping shape the future design capability.
- Influencing senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering and the wider business.
- Championing user-centred design across a fast-moving technology environment.
What We're Looking For
- Outstanding UX, Product Design or Experience Design fundamentals.
- A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional judgement and complex digital product delivery.
- Experience operating within SaaS, software or technology-led environments.
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI and how it's transforming product design.
- Comfortable working hands-on with modern design and AI tools.
- Ability to collaborate directly with engineers and contribute beyond traditional design boundaries.
- Naturally curious, resilient and commercially minded.
- Someone who thrives in agile, fast-paced environments where ownership and accountability matter.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with AI-powered products, conversational interfaces or agentic workflows.
- Exposure to tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar AI-assisted development platforms.
- Experience building and scaling design systems.
- Previous experience mentoring or developing design talent.
