💡 The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to take ownership of key services that power our intelligent platform. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams — including Product, Frontend, and AI — to deliver backend systems that are secure, scalable, and built for real-world impact.

🧠 What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js and NestJS
• Build and scale microservices and event-driven architectures with asynchronous communication patterns
• Develop and optimise RESTful APIs focused on performance, security, and reliability
• Model and tune MongoDB schemas for high-performance queries
• Deploy and maintain services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Troubleshoot and optimise systems for performance, scalability, and stability
• Collaborate in an agile environment delivering production-grade software

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years’ professional backend development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and distributed systems
• Experience with microservices , event-driven design , and unit/integration testing
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD workflows
• A problem-solver with strong collaboration skills and attention to detail
