A large-scale digital transformation programme is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to lead end-to-end cloud design across complex, secure, and highly technical environments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing secure, scalable, resilient cloud architectures across AWS/Azure/GCP
  • Leading cloud migration, optimisation and modernisation initiatives end-to-end
  • Translating business and technical requirements into reference architectures, HLDs, LLDs and standards
  • Reviewing current-state cloud environments and driving improvements in security, performance and cost
  • Providing architectural oversight across multiple delivery squads and engineering teams
  • Ensuring all cloud solutions align with governance, compliance and operational best practice
  • Staying ahead of cloud trends and advising on emerging technologies and patterns

What You'll Bring

  • Strong background architecting cloud solutions in complex or highly regulated environments
  • Expertise with one or more major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, DevOps and modern cloud-native patterns
  • Strong cloud security knowledge: IAM, encryption, network security, monitoring, compliance
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas simply and clearly
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive architectural decisions
  • SC eligibility required

Contract Details:

  • £750 - £850 Per Day - Inside IR35
  • 6 Months +
  • Hybrid Working - Flexible (Multi Locations)

Desirable

  • Experience with identity platforms, access control, or automated compliance tooling
  • Cloud certifications (AWS SA, Azure Architect Expert, GCP equivalent)
  • Degree or relevant technical background
