Working closely with stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Portfolio and Workforce Planning, you will improve resource visibility, embed consistent processes and governance, and provide actionable insights to support workforce strategy and prioritisation.

Key accountabilities of the role

  • Develop and embed consistent workforce planning, forecasting, reporting and resource management processes.
  • Own resource forecasting across assigned portfolios, providing visibility of capacity, demand, resource gaps and constraints.
  • Conduct scenario modelling, identify risks and trade-offs, and recommend actions to support effective resourcing decisions.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders, Finance, People and Technology teams to validate demand and align resources with business priorities.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights, reports, heatmaps and presentations to inform decision-making.
  • Challenge assumptions, improve forecasting discipline and drive continuous improvement in workforce planning practices.
  • Support the development of future platform capabilities, integrations and scalable ways of working.

Key skills and experience

  • Demonstrable experience in resource management, workforce planning or a related analytical role within a technology or project environment.
  • Strong forecasting, capacity planning and demand management skills, with the ability to identify resource constraints and model scenarios.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas and data modelling, with experience analysing large datasets.
  • Experience implementing or adopting workforce planning, resource management or similar business systems; Tempus experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong data governance and data quality management skills, including validating information and improving reporting accuracy.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and drive decisions at all levels.
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear, compelling insights and presentations, including proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • A proactive, analytical and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, change management and the adoption of new ways of working.
