Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead - Full Stack Developer with 12+ years of experience in React.js, TypeScript, Node.js and Express.js.

The successful candidate will work within an Agile delivery team, contributing to Front End and Back End development, application modernisation, integrations and application support activities.

The ideal candidate will be a strong hands-on developer who embraces AI-driven software development, using GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards of code quality, security and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Front End applications using React.js and TypeScript.
• Build and support Back End APIs and services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Work with MongoDB and Oracle databases for application development and integrations.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
• Support the migration of Legacy ASP.NET Web Forms applications to React-based solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
• Write clean, maintainable and reusable code.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-powered tools to improve development productivity and code quality.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js, TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Backend development experience using Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience working with MongoDB and Oracle Database.
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and SCSS.
• Experience with Git, GitHub and source control best practices.
• Understanding of unit testing and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Ability to work across Front End and Back End technologies, contribute quickly within an established team and solve technical problems effectively.

AI-Driven Development

• Proven experience using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted software development tools.
• Ability to leverage AI for code generation, refactoring, debugging, testing and documentation.
• Experience reviewing and validating AI-generated code to ensure security, performance, quality and maintainability.
• Comfortable working in an AI-first software development environment.
