Client Partner/Senior Account Manager – Banking (Analytics Focus):

London, United Kingdom | Flexible Hybrid Working | Permanent | Senior Leadership Role –

On‐target bonus / variable: 30%‒50% of base (so on‐target total package of roughly £130,000‒£200,000)

An established global analytics and digital solutions business is looking for an experienced Client Partner / Senior Account Manager to drive growth, profitability, and strategic client engagement across key banking sector accounts.

This is a senior, client-facing role reporting to their VP Banking & Capital Markets , where you’ll own end-to-end account management — from opportunity identification through to delivery oversight — ensuring clients receive exceptional service while advancing strategic goals across the UK banking landscape.

Role Overview:

This individual will be an expert in selling Analytics and Data Consulting Professional Services aligned to the Azure, AWS, GCP, and Snowflake technology stack .

They will have a proven background working for a Consultancy or Global System Integrator (GSI) and a consistent recent track record of generating £3m–£6m in professional services revenue .

Key Attributes:

  • Deep understanding of modern data platforms, cloud architectures, and analytics consulting services.
  • Ability to build and expand relationships with C-level stakeholders within enterprise and mid-market clients.
  • Demonstrated success in shaping and closing complex consulting engagements.
  • Commercially astute, with the credibility to operate at board level.
  • A growth-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to delivery and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow major banking relationships, driving profitability, NPS, and operational excellence.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from deal origination through to contract closure and handover.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders (CDO, COO, CRO, CIO, CTO, etc.) within Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks.
  • Develop winning proposals aligned with client needs and organisational capabilities.
  • Build strategic partnerships and third-party relationships to generate new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with delivery and solution teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.

Experience & Background

  • Proven large account management experience within the banking domain.
  • Strong track record in relationship building, revenue growth, and solution selling.
  • Skilled at translating client needs into value-driven proposals and outcomes.
  • Adept at managing multiple complex deals and achieving ambitious growth targets.
  • Executive presence with advanced communication and presentation skills.
  • Typically 15+ years of post-qualification experience; MBA or equivalent preferred.
