Senior Software Engineer

Platform / Software Engineer | £600 per day | Outside IR35 | Fully Remote

A leading financial services institution is looking for a driven Platform / Software Engineer to join an established team supporting a major internal platform programme, integrating enterprise-grade security tooling across internal engineering pipelines and systems.

This isn't a heads-down coding role. You'll be working closely across multiple product and engineering teams, which means strong communication and a consultative approach are just as important as your technical ability.

Desired Skills:

• Golang (or strong engineering background with willingness to learn)
• GCP, AWS, Azure
• Kubernetes (cloud-native), Terraform

This is a great opportunity for a Platform / Software Engineer who:

• Has experience building and operating Kubernetes-based platforms to serve internal development teams
• Is comfortable integrating complex tooling into existing pipelines and engaging directly with stakeholder and product teams to solve their problems
• Is self-motivated, socially strong, and able to lead technical conversations with both engineers and non-technical audiences
