Salary: £70k-£90k + Equity
Our client is an ambitious and fast-growing technology business seeking to appoint its first Finance Director at a key stage in its development.
This is a rare opportunity to join an organisation at an early point in its journey and play a leading role in building the financial foundations that will support future growth. Working closely with the leadership team, you will help shape financial strategy, establish scalable processes and provide commercial insight to support decision-making across the business.
This role will suit someone who enjoys operating in an entrepreneurial environment and is equally comfortable thinking strategically and getting involved in day-to-day delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of financial strategy, planning and forecasting
- Build and maintain financial models and reporting frameworks
- Establish appropriate finance processes, systems and controls
- Deliver meaningful management information and business insights
- Partner with leadership on commercial and strategic decisions
- Support future growth, investment and governance activities
- Drive financial discipline and help build a scalable operating framework
About You
We are interested in speaking with individuals who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a senior finance leadership position
- A recognised finance qualification
- Experience working within high-growth, entrepreneurial or evolving environments
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking capability
- A hands-on approach with the ability to build and improve processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The confidence to challenge, influence and support senior teams
