Sales Development Representative

Join a UK Based Technology Leader in Fleet Management

Gillespie Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a technology leader in fleet management, insurance telematics, connected car and optimisation.

As part of their expansion, they're recruiting a Sales Development Representative, to join their dynamic team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and find fully qualified sales opportunities for our corporate sales team by researching and pre-qualifying prospective customers.
  • Manage inbound sales query line and identify potential opportunities for the corporate sales team.
  • Work with sales tools such as LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Loom/Vidyard (or other video messaging tools) and Salesforce.
  • Attend appropriate events to build and develop relationships.
  • Work towards individual monthly and quarterly KPIs and targets to help the wider sales and marketing team goals.

Key Criteria:

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • A confident telephone manner and outgoing personality. Have the confidence and ability to record audio and short video messages for prospects.
  • Ideally experienced working for a B2B/SaaS company.
  • Excellent sales development or business development background with the ability to speak with senior business owners/directors and deliver against target KPI’s.
  • Previous experience of using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
