Role Overview
A 6-month office-based contract role in London paying £600 per day, with 1 position available, for an experienced CyberArk Subject Matter Expert to lead Privileged Access Management initiatives. The role covers implementation, enhancement, governance, risk reduction, and compliance, with deep expertise in CyberArk, integrations, and enterprise security architecture. CyberArk Defender (PAM-Defender) certification is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end CyberArk implementation, deployment, upgrades, patching, and DR setup across PAS components.
- Design CyberArk architecture and configure safes, platforms, and security policies to enterprise standards.
- Define and implement PAM strategy, frameworks, and the privileged access lifecycle in line with compliance requirements.
- Develop CPM plugins and PSM connectors, and troubleshoot PSM, CPM, Vault, and integrations.
- Drive account discovery and onboarding, remediate privileged access risks (orphan accounts, shared credentials, password gaps), integrate with AD/LDAP, IGA, SIEM, and ServiceNow, and support audits and compliance reporting.

- CyberArk PAM expertise: 8+ years of IT experience with strong CyberArk capability.
- Mandatory certification: CyberArk Defender (PAM-Defender).
- Solution delivery: Hands-on design, implementation, upgrade, new installation, and migration experience.
- Development and troubleshooting: PSM connector and CPM plugin development, plus PSM and CPM troubleshooting.
- Architecture and PAM principles: Strong understanding of CyberArk components and PAM controls. Desirable extras are PAM-Sentry/CDE, Credential Providers (CP, CCP, AIM), REST API integrations, and IAM/AD/LDAP knowledge.
