Oracle Integration Cloud Architect - 6-Month Contract - Luton - Inside IR35
Our client, a leading IT consultancy, is looking for an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Architect to lead the architecture, design and delivery of enterprise integrations across Oracle Cloud and third-party applications. You will turn business and functional requirements into scalable integration solutions, set integration patterns and standards, and provide architecture governance across the delivery life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture and design of integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud
- Lead technical discovery and design workshops with functional, business and technology teams, translating requirements into technical integration designs
- Define integration patterns across Real Time, asynchronous, scheduled/batch, event-driven, file-based and API-led integrations
- Define source-to-target data flows, transformations, mappings and orchestration logic, and identify dependencies across applications and integration layers
- Review existing integrations and recommend simplification, reuse and standardisation, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and supportable
What You Will Ideally Bring
- Strong hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud experience, with a track record of architecting complex enterprise integration solutions
- Strong experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud applications with external systems, with a good grasp of Fusion data and integration concepts
- A solid grounding in REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL and XSLT, plus authentication, authorisation and secure integration principles
- Experience designing error handling, logging, monitoring and reprocessing, and defining source-to-target mappings and interface specifications
- Desirable: Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM integration (such as FCCS, EPBCS, ARCS, PCMCS or TRCS), API management and governance, CI/CD for integrations, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
