The Company

A leading UK consumer-facing organisation undergoing a significant digital transformation, with a mission-driven purpose and a strong focus on improving customer experience. With a large digital presence and millions of customer interactions, the business is investing in its analytics capabilities to better understand user behaviour, optimise online journeys and identify opportunities for commercial growth.

The Role

As the Senior Digital Analyst, you will play a key role in understanding and improving the performance of digital products and customer journeys. Sitting within an established digital analytics team, you will work closely with stakeholders across digital, product, marketing and data, translating complex datasets into actionable insights that influence business decisions. This is a hands-on analytical position with a strong focus on web analytics and SQL, alongside opportunities to contribute to CRO initiatives and experimentation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, customer experience and overall digital performance through CRO-focused analysis.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of tracking, tagging and data capture, working alongside internal teams and external agencies.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, promoting analytical best practice and continuous improvement.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Experience using web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or Piano Analytics. Experience with Piano is advantageous, although transferable experience with GA or Adobe will be considered.
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins and working with large datasets. Experience with Snowflake or BigQuery is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of digital customer journeys, user behaviour and conversion optimisation.
  • Experience contributing to CRO initiatives, experimentation or A/B testing.
  • Exposure to Google Tag Manager (GTM) or other tag management solutions would be beneficial.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to turn data into clear commercial recommendations.
  • A proactive mindset, with an interest in emerging technologies and AI-driven approaches to analytics.
