Web Instrumentation Analyst London, Hybrid

This is an opportunity to take ownership of web and app tracking for a high-traffic digital platform, shaping how customer behaviour data is captured, governed, and used across the business. You will play a key role in enabling data driven decision making by ensuring instrumentation is robust, compliant, and insight-led.

The Role

  • Own and develop web and app instrumentation across multiple digital properties
  • Define, implement, and maintain a consistent data layer in collaboration with Product teams
  • Deliver tagging and tracking using Adobe Analytics tooling and related platforms
  • Ensure data quality through ongoing QA, optimisation, and governance
  • Partner with Marketing, Analytics Engineering, and Martech teams to enable attribution and downstream data use
  • Build tracking and reporting that supports both internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Ensure all implementations align with consent management and regional compliance requirements

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience with JavaScript for web instrumentation
  • Hands-on expertise with Adobe Analytics, including Web SDK, Tags, and Analytics
  • Experience implementing and debugging marketing tags and complex tracking solutions
  • Background working in ecommerce or B2B digital environments
  • Understanding of core digital and ecommerce KPIs and user behaviour tracking
  • Experience working with consent management platforms and global compliance considerations
  • Comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Exposure to mobile app tracking on iOS and Android is highly beneficial
  • Knowledge of tools such as GA4, ObservePoint, BI or visualisation platforms is advantageous
