Solutions Architect

Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Solution Architect – please note our client is specifically interested in speaking with candidates who have previously worked within the education sector.

• Initial six months
• Inside of IR35
• Daily rate of £500 - £600
• Remote first, with some visits to an office in Glasgow or London

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of solutions for our education client, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle—from concept to deployment.
• Ensure solutions are compliant with data protection and accessibility standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, ideally within the education sector (e.g. universities, colleges, EdTech).
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.), and integration strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are desirable.
• Experience with ERP systems, namely MS Dynamics 365 would be highly regarded.
• Microsoft Technologies.
