Digital Microsoft 365 Solutions Engineer

If you are ready to lead automation initiatives, design and create project workflows and build digital tools then read on. You will lead the analysis and continuous improvement of their Microsoft 365 tenant, identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and enhancement across applications such as SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange. Design, develop, and maintain robust business process automation solutions using PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a development environment including: mechanical, electrical, liaison and release engineering, parts quality and purchasing - to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, secure technical solutions. Support, enhance, and migrate existing Excel/VBA-based automation tools to more strategic, sustainable platforms. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, runbooks, and training materials to ensure clarity and compliance with governance standards. Provide training and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of new functionalities within the Power Platform and Microsoft 365 environment. Drive quality assurance and testing activities to ensure automation solutions meet business requirements and maintain system stability. Establish and shape the team's working methods and structures, leveraging the flexibility of a start-up environment to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Manage and refine user stories in JIRA independently, ensuring structured and clear documentation of requirements, progress and roadblocks. You must be able to evidence proven experience administering and configuring Microsoft 365 applications and services, with strong expertise in PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI development. Solid technical skills including proficiency in Excel/VBA, JSON, Python scripting, SQL for data querying, and familiarity with SAP, AWS, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams administration. Experience working with JIRA to independently add, manage, and refine user stories in a structured manner. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions. Excellent communication skills, capable of working collaboratively across technical, business and IT teams and have an ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver high-quality results. Experience or interest in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms and data integration would be advantageous.
