Business Systems & Data Analyst

Hays have partnered with a Professional Services business who are looking for a Business Systems & Data Analyst to join the team to take responsibility for supporting the effective operation, administration, and continuous improvement of their business systems, reporting platforms and capabilities, and technology applications.
Your new role
The role focusses on system optimisation, reporting, documentation, data management, knowledge capture, user training, and business-as-usual support. You will promote data quality standards, governance frameworks and deliver end-to-end BI solutions whilst producing accurate and fit-for-purpose SQL and Excel reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience
- Experience supporting business operations, data management and business systems within a professional services environment.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Strong understanding of data quality, data structures and information management principles.
- Understanding of data governance and information security principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent Power BI skills.
- Integration and automation experience.
- Depth of experience in creating documentation tailored to the appropriate business audience.
Please note: This role will initially be on-site as you get up to speed, but then will operate a hybrid working model of 3 days on site / 2 days from home.
