IT Systems Analyst

Hays are now looking for an IT Systems Analyst for one of our local clients.

• Day rate: Negotiable (Inside IR35)
• Hybrid Working 1-2 days a week onsite
• Location is Cardiff

What You'll Be Doing

You'll support the development of a new apprenticeship system by mapping current and future IT requirements, analyzing integration needs, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure a smooth transition. This is a project-focused role where you'll help shape the digital infrastructure for a major programme launch.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in IT systems analysis and mapping.
• Strong understanding of system development and integration projects.
• Ability to work with technical teams (IT, data/statistics) and interpret complex requirements.
• Experience in change management and implementing system changes.
• Familiarity with government data collection systems or similar platforms (beneficial).
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
