Senior Project Manager - HR Transformations, People workstreams/People Functions
Up to £900 per day (Inside IR35 - Umbrella)
City of London / Hybrid (3 days per week on-site - flexible) Initially a 6 month contract
My client is a global financial services organisation seeking an experienced Project Manager with proven experience in people integration and transformation. The role will focus on supporting the delivery of the People workstream for a major global acquisition, overseeing and maintaining the integrated People project plan throughout the transaction life cycle, from initial planning and due diligence through to deal completion.
Key Requirements:
- Strong project and programme management capabilities, with experience in governance, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, reporting, and change control.
- Experience leading and delivering the people-related aspects of business integrations, divestitures, or other complex employee transition programmes.
- Experience supporting acquisition activities across the full transaction life cycle, including planning, close, Day 1 preparation, and post-acquisition integration.
- Proven ability to coordinate and align multiple HR specialist teams within a large, matrixed organisation.
- Experience delivering global or multi-country programmes involving diverse employee populations and regulatory environments.
Nice to have:
- M&A experience
- Experience working with Integration Management Offices (IMO) or transaction PMOs.
- Experience with Workday and large-scale employee onboarding activities.
- Experience supporting employee transfers, organisational integration and harmonisation activities.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification.
- Change management certification or experience.
