Interim Head of IT

Interim Head of IT - Paying up to £450 Per Day, Inside IR35, Based in Oxford, Mainly on site working, To Start ASAP

You will be working with a leading organisation that is based in Oxford.

We're looking for an experienced Head of IT to lead and manage core IT services. This role involves overseeing systems, networks, and user support for staff, students, and visitors. You'll drive strategic IT projects, ensure infrastructure security, and collaborate across departments to align tech with institutional needs.

• Strong experience in IT leadership and infrastructure management
• Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware), scripting (PowerShell), and SQL
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of higher education IT environments
• Experience with SharePoint, Teams, WordPress, and project management
