AWS Developer
UK - Remote
Description
We're looking for an AWS Developer to join the Contact Centre Platform (CCP) team. This is a hands-on software development role focused on building AWS-hosted services, Lambda functions, and components that support AI-driven features and automation within the platform. The role is development-first, not a pure DevOps or infrastructure role.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain AWS Lambda functions and supporting backend services (Node.js/TypeScript)
- Contribute to feature development and deployment across the Amazon Connect ecosystem
- Support route-to-live processes for new capabilities and platform enhancements
- Implement secure, scalable solutions aligned with internal development standards
- Work closely with case management and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integrations
- Debug, optimise, and maintain AWS-hosted services for performance and reliability
- Apply DevOps principles where relevant (CI/CD pipelines), with a primary focus on coding and solution development
What you'll need
- Strong hands-on AWS development experience (Lambda essential)
- Proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript or similar backend languages, with real-world examples
- Familiarity with Amazon Connect and/or AI model deployment on AWS
- Strong awareness of secure coding and DevSecOps principles
- Eligible for SC Clearance
Nice to have
- Experience with Terraform or other IaC tooling
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud Voice integrations
