Materials Systems Analyst
Location: Crawley/Hybrid
Type: Full-time
We're looking for a Materials Systems Analyst to support European spare parts operations by ensuring ERP and EDI system integrity, improving data quality, and driving digital transformation through automation and analytics.
This role combines data analysis, system support, and process improvement, with a strong focus on making operations more efficient, accurate, and automated.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain ERP data integrity and enforce system controls and governance
- Monitor and resolve ERP/EDI transaction issues
- Analyse data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
- Design and implement automation solutions (Power Automate, RPA, VBA, Python, etc.)
- Build reports and dashboards (eg Power BI) to support decision-making
- Improve and digitise operational processes with business stakeholders
- Support supply chain, logistics, and planning teams with data insights
- Contribute to continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives
About You
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, BaaN or similar)
- Strong Excel skills; SQL and database knowledge preferred
- Experience with reporting tools (eg Power BI)
- Interest or experience in automation tools (Power Automate, VBA, Python, UiPath)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage priorities
- Clear communication skills and ability to present data simply
- Understanding of supply chain/EDI is beneficial
